Egg Salad Sandwich Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • 8 slices of bread (white or whole grain)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients:

    In a medium-sized bowl, mix the chopped eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, and green onions. Stir until well combined. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  2. Prepare Sandwich:

    Lay out four slices of bread, and if desired, place a lettuce leaf on each. Divide the egg salad evenly among these slices, spreading it out to the edges.
  3. Assemble:

    Top each with another slice of bread. Press down gently to ensure the sandwich holds together.
  4. Serve:

    Cut each sandwich into halves or quarters, whichever you prefer. Serve immediately or wrap for a picnic or a quick grab-and-go lunch.
