Tuna Noodle Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz of egg noodles
  • 2 cans (12 oz each) of tuna, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water, according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and frozen peas. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir until everything is well mixed.
  4. Transfer the noodle mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread the mixture evenly with a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the casserole. Mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and then sprinkle them over the cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
